Union of Insurance Employees in Finland (Vakuutusväen Liitto VvL ry in Finnish) is meant to all the
employees working in the insurance business and it is the only labour union in Finland that has the rights to collective bargaining in insurance business.

The Union of Insurance Employees was founded in 1945.

All the members of the Union are also members of the Unemployment Fund of Insurance Business in Finland. Everyone, who has been continuously as a member of the Union at least for ten months, is entitled to earnings-related unemployment assistance.

Furthermore the Union of Insurance Employees in Finland offers juridicial support, training, courses and different kinds of member benefits and discount prices. The personnel of insurance business belong to the Union through the companywise member organizations of the Union. Being active in your own companywise organization you have the opportunity to influence on the agreements negotiated by the Union.

The Union of Insurance Employees in Finland is a member of Finnish Confederation of Salaried Employees STTK. STTK is the largest salaried employee confederation in Finland.
